  Manor Fields Park - Sheffield

Health and wellbeing

Manor Fields is 50 acres of parkland and lots of space to run, bike, walk and play.

Exercise

Health and Fitness activities are run regularly on the park. From health walks to circuit training, there will be something for you to try. Run by Kelly Anne and Errol at Manor and Castle Development Trust.

Our Parkletics equipment near the entrance to the car park allows for people to exercise at the own pace using resistance exercises - a board nearby provides a range of stretches and exercises.

Sheffield Castle Park Run takes place every Saturday come rain or shine at 9am.
If you like you Saturday morning lie-ins, there is a new route permanently on the site with a map to come at York House outlining the r
oute.

Play

With two playgrounds and a set of goal posts disguised as carrot tops, plus Maskk providing weekly play sessions, the park is a great place for kids to get exercise and burn off energy.

Work

Come and volunteer with the Thursday drop-in group.  There is no greater way to keep your health in check then digging or planting or pushing a wheelbarrow in the fresh air.  Accompanied by well-deserved cups of teas of course!
Relax
Health and well-being isn't all about fitness and running everywhere you go - it's also about enjoying your surroundings and taking moments to breathe in and listen to the birds and peace and quiet.
The park is just full of nature and wildlife with beautiful ponds and running water to enjoy.
